Jamestown, N.Y. — Many visitors, including newcomers, are practicing safe social distancing while enjoying Audubon Community Nature Center’s (ACNC) 600-acre wetland preserve with its more than five miles of beautifully maintained trails, native tree arboretum, picnic areas, natural play space, educational gardens, and Liberty, a non-releasable Bald Eagle.
To help provide funding for those who continue to keep Audubon’s grounds open, ACNC is taking orders for special t-shirts and hoodies.
The design, illustrated by staff member Kim Turner, comes in a variety of adult and youth sizes.
One hundred percent of the proceeds support Audubon Community Nature Center’s staff, building, and grounds so that they can continue to provide the community with a safe place to get outside and enjoy the benefits of nature.
Your purchase also supports local business. T-shirts and hoodies purchased through Audubon’s sale will be printed by JRSC Digital, a Jamestown business since 1956.
Prices are $15/Youth tees, $20/Adult and Ladies’ T-shirts, $30/Hooded Sweatshirts, with $5 more for sizes XXL and XXXL.
All orders must be placed online by Monday, June 15. The shirts will be available for pick up at the Nature Center after the sale has ended, or they can be shipped for an additional fee.
For all the details and to place your order, go to AudubonCNC.org/Programs, click on Current Schedule, then Online T-shirt and Sweatshirt Fundraiser. For assistance with ordering, call the Nature Center at (716) 569-2345 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday-Friday.

For more great shopping, through May 30 Audubon’s Blue Heron Gift Shop has 15% off all items (except birdseed, gift cards, suet, and the shirt fundraiser) and 25% off for all ACNC members.
