Jamestown, N.Y. — You can celebrate Earth Day and support Audubon Community Nature Center (ACNC) by ordering a t-shirt that shows your love for the outdoors.

Audubon’s 2021 t-shirt comes in a variety of adult and youth sizes. Orders can be placed now through Thursday, May 13.

The unique design, created by local artist and Audubon staff member Kimberly Turner, is available only this year. Turner also designed the 2020 Audubon fundraiser shirt and the Day Camp and Wild 5K shirts for the past five years. You can view her work and style at KimberlyTurnerArt.com

All t-shirt sale proceeds support ACNC’s 2021 Summer Day Camp Program.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Audubon provided a safe Day Camp experience for more than 250 children in 2020. Another summer filled with children exploring the woods, building forts, and taking adventures to explore local natural wonders is planned again. The Earth Day T-Shirt fundraiser ensures that Audubon can purchase the necessary materials to make this summer’s program possible.

Your purchase also supports local business. T-shirts purchased through Audubon’s sale will be printed by Tenfold Recycled Clothing. New to the Jamestown area, Tenfold offers a variety of products including t-shirts made 100% from plastic bottles (Tenfold.Clothing). Audubon t-shirts are 100% cotton.

Prices are $15/Youth sizes (S, M, L, XL), $20/Adult and Ladies’ t-shirts (S, M, L, XL), additional $5 for sizes XXL and XXXL.

All orders must be placed online by Thursday, May 13. Once orders are in, they will then be printed and distributed. Shirts will be available for pick-up at the Nature Center on Friday and Saturday, May 28 and 29, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Orders can be shipped for an additional $5 per item.
