New York Schools - Audubon Classroom Programs

Audubon Community Nature Center offers a comprehensive program of environmental education primarily serving schools in southwestern New York and northwestern Pennsylvania. All lessons are designed to be age-appropriate and to help students achieve State Learning Standards. As schools adopt new standards and curricula, we work with teachers to adjust lessons as needed.

Please call Sarah Hatfield for more information at (716) 569-2345 or email shatfield@auduboncnc.org .

A Naturalist comes to your school and presents up to five or six lessons, depending on the grade level(s). All lessons are designed for classroom-sized groups (15-25). Lessons for Preschool and Kindergarten are 45 minutes. Lessons for grades 1 through 6 are closer to 55 minutes.

If you are interested in having Audubon visit you classroom, please contact Sarah Hatfield at (716) 569-2345 or shatfield@auduboncnc.org.

If you are scheduled for a visit, please download the corresponding lesson packet by clicking the program title below.
